THE BOLTON INTERFAITH YOUNG AMBASSADORS FORUM (BIYAF)

The Ambassadors meet fortnightly at the Lillian Hamer Home on Deane Rd on Wednesday's 7pm to 9.00pm
 
The next agreed meetings are on the 27th August,10th and 24th September, 8th and 22nd October, 5th and 19th November and 3rd December 2008

FAITH TRAIL

The Bolton Interfaith Council has a programme of arranging Faith Trails (visits to places of worship for all Faiths) for schools, Community, Voluntary & Statutory Sector and all othe sectors of the Community. If interested please ring the Strategic Officer to arrange a visit.
 
18/11/08 - Spindle Point CP, Kearsley - visit to VEDA MANDIR.
25/11/08 - Youth Action-Blackburn visit to St.John's Church & Veda Mandir.
02/12/08 - Sacred Heart School, Westhoughton - visit to the Mosque and Temple.
03/12/08 - Sacred Heart School, Westhoughton - visit to the Mosque and Temple.
11/12/08 - Salford University - visit to Zakarriya Mosque and Veda Mandir Temple.
12/12/08 - Egerton CP - visit to Zakarriya Mosque.
 
TBA - Visit to Sikh Gurdwara in Manchester with the Young Ambassadors and members of our executive committee (previous date given has been cancelled).

ALL FAITH TRAILS ARE CARRIED OUT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OUR COLLEAGUES FROM BOLTON COUNCIL OF MOSQUES, CHRISTIAN COHESION, BOLTON HINDU FORUM AS WELL AS CHURCHES, MOSQUES & TEMPLES.

OPEN FORUM

We have Open Forum meetings with interesting topics to discuss with panel members- see Meeting dates 2008.
 
The next meeting will be held on the :- 06/12/08 at the Church at the Centre - Tonge Children's Centre, Starkie Rd, Bolton, BL2 2ED. Topic- "ROLE OF CHRISTIANITY IN INTERFAITH DIALOGUE"- ALL WELCOME. (pls note new date)
